Ford Motor Company has named LUCIEN PINTO as President and CEO of the US automaker in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Central America, and the Caribbean, set to kick off his tenure on the first of October.
A 17-year veteran of Ford, Pinto will be promoted from his current title of marketing and sales director where he has been there for six years.
He is taking over for Luz Elena del Castillo who is retiring after a 30-year career in the automotive industry, 16 of them with Ford where del Castillo has made strides in innovation, diversity, sustainability and social responsibility.
As new President and CEO, Pinto will focus on strengthening growth in the region and attracting top talent to the company’s operations.
