Automakers Stellantis and Volvo Cars have appointed key executive positions which will help shape the future of these multinational OEMs throughout the Americas and beyond.
For Stellantis, Antonio Filosa has been named chief operating officer (COO) of the automotive group in North America, adding to his current role as CEO of the Jeep brand.
North America is not just the most important region for the Jeep brand, it’s one of the most important regions for the entire company and a key engine driving the success of Stellantis.
"It’s an honor to be given the opportunity to expand my role for Stellantis. I will bring my years of experience in both commercial and industrial operations to bear in this new role, ensuring we deliver the right products at the right time at the right prices for our dealers and, importantly, our customers," says Mr. Filosa.
Meanwhile, Arek Nowinski will soon be taking on a new role at Volvo Cars. On November 1, he will be President of International Markets, overseeing commercial sales operations in Europe, the US, Canada, Latin America, Global Importers and Asia-Pacific (APeC).
"In this new chapter, my focus will be on expanding Volvo’s global presence and refining our product line-up to fit the specific demands of each region, all while maintaining the high standards that define our brand," says Mr. Nowinski.
All the best to Antonio and Arek and their teams.
