Hello FMT insiders,
While many across the Americas are enjoying a well-deserved midyear break, July has also marked a season of professional transitions, fresh leadership, and bold new objectives for numerous fleet, mobility, and automotive executives. We're pleased to spotlight several of these notable career moves that are shaping the future of our industry.
In the automotive manufacturing sector, leadership is evolving with strategic intent. Hyundai Motor Group has promoted Ken Ramirez to Global Executive Vice President. Formerly Global EVP of the Hyundai Motor Company, Mr. Ramirez now expands his leadership to oversee not only Hyundai but also Kia, Genesis, and other affiliates—further positioning the group for unified global momentum.
Stellantis has appointed Jason Stoicevich as Senior Vice President for Dealer Network and Strategy in North America, placing him at the helm of strengthening dealer relations and long-term growth initiatives across the region. Meanwhile, Volkswagen has promoted Stefan Mecha to Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Vehicles, entrusting him with expanding VW's global footprint in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment at a time of major transformation.
Among global vehicle leasing and fleet management giants, U.S.-based Holman has announced two pivotal leadership changes. Peter Dondlinger has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer, guiding Holman’s commercial operations across key markets. Kristina Nicoles will now serve as President and Chief Administrative Officer, overseeing a wide range of corporate services that support Holman’s global performance and culture.
Also in the U.S., Enterprise Fleet Management has promoted Bryan Taylor to Senior Vice President. In this role, he will continue to drive Enterprise’s robust service portfolio and national account strategies.
Across the Atlantic, European mobility powerhouse Ayvens has announced that Philippe de Rovira will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer this coming December. His appointment comes as the company continues to redefine global mobility solutions following the merger of ALD Automotive and LeasePlan.
In Latin America, Continental has promoted Ricardo Rodriguez to Country Head for Automotive in Brazil, placing him at the forefront of one of the region’s most dynamic vehicle markets. His leadership is expected to support regional innovation and growth in automotive technologies and systems integration within the mobility services ecosystem.
In the public mobility sphere, Uber has named Chris Margaronis as its new Head of Transit Agency Partnerships. He will work closely with public agencies to integrate Uber’s technology and services into multimodal public transit systems, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainable urban mobility.
On the operational side of fleet management, Karyna Zarate has been appointed Fleet Manager at Audubon Companies, a global services firm based in Houston, Texas. In her new role, she will lead fleet oversight while managing critical compliance and safety functions—an increasingly vital part of any company’s transportation strategy.
Lastly, we recognize the upcoming retirement of two iconic industry leaders in 2025. After more than 60 years of combined dedication and influence, Bryce Adamson of Enterprise Fleet Management and Tim Albertsen of Ayvens have announced they will step down this year. Their visionary leadership has shaped some of the most significant developments in fleet and mobility management in recent decades.
We extend our warm congratulations to all those stepping into new roles, as well as our deep gratitude to those departing. May this next chapter bring growth, fulfillment, and new opportunities to leave a lasting impact.
