Fleet Management Systems to double in Latin America by 2030

July 2026

Latin America’s fleet management technology sector is expanding at remarkable speed, driven by widespread adoption of connected vehicles and telematics solutions.

By late 2025, 10.2 million commercial vehicles in the region were equipped with active fleet management systems, a number projected to double to 20.6 million by 2030, reflecting a strong 15.2% CAGR. Despite this growth, the market remains fragmented: the top five providers represent just over 10% of active systems, and the top ten account for roughly one‑third of installations.

Regional leaders include Gurtam, whose Wialon platform is deployed through extensive partnerships, and Geotab, which has built a large footprint over 15 years with several hundred thousand subscriptions. Other major players—Michelin Connected Fleet, Ituran, and Powerfleet—maintain deep regional operations.

Beyond these leaders, numerous regional specialists and international entrants contribute to a diverse ecosystem, including MOI7, Hunter, Navixy, RedGPS, Widec, and others with sizable installed bases. The region also benefits from full-service fleet management outsourcing firms such as Traxal International and Fleets International Enterprises, which extend beyond telematics into procurement, cost optimization, and lifecycle management.

Together, these innovators are shaping a future where real-time data, connected vehicles, and intelligent fleet operations become standard across Latin America.
